Dr Susan O’Mahony 

Dr Susan O’Mahony is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive & Craniomaxillofacial Surgeon from Brisbane, Australia. During her training Dr O’Mahony studied, researched and worked in Australia, the UK and New Zealand. She undertook her formal Plastic Surgery training in Queensland and completed her Craniomaxillofacial Fellowships in Brisbane and Wellington. Susan’s craniomaxillofacial practice is largely paediatric, with a special interest in cleft surgery. She holds a consultant position at the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane where she is also supervisor of Plastic and Reconstructive Regsitrar training. In addition she is an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Susan has a busy private practice where she specialises in a wide range of adult and paediatric plastic surgery.

Dr Charles Baillieu

Mr Charles Baillieu is a plastic surgeon from Melbourne, Australia. He completed his CMF training with fellowships in Wellington, NZ & Gothenburg, Sweden. He has completed other fellowships in dental osseointegration, cleft lip and palate surgery, speech improving surgery and cosmetic surgery. His current active CMF practice includes comprehensive CMF trauma management, orthognathic surgery and paediatric craniofacial surgery. He works at many hospitals in Melbourne including The Royal Children’s Hospital, The Alfred Hospital, Monash Children’s Hospital & Dandenong Hospitals.

Dr Charles Davis

Charles has led the craniofacial team for central and southern New Zealand for the past 20 years. He has a PhD in Craniofacial mechanobiology and is passionate about teaching. He set up the original CMF Training Course for his fellows at the time and has enjoyed watching it develop over time. He regularly teaches Craniofacial Surgery techniques in other countries through Interplast and Operation Smile.

Dr Sophie Ricketts

Dr Sophie Ricketts is a Melbourne trained Plastic Surgeon with a strong reconstructive background in microsurgical repair of sarcoma, head & neck and breast cancers as well as facial fractures and trauma. She holds two teaching hospital appointments at The Alfred and St Vincent's Hospitals. She also specialises in cosmetic surgery of the face, body and breast and has a special interest in rhinoplasty.

Dr Ian Hewson

Dr Ian D Hewson is a Specialist in Special Needs Dentistry. He is a registered Special Needs Specialist, with considerable experience in all aspects of dentistry including implant placement, oral surgery and crown and bridge. He is a credentialed practitioner at Northpark Private, St Vincent’s and Mercy private and Cotham Private Hospitals. Ian has lectured widely within Australia and overseas and has published more than 20 papers in well recognised journals. Ian has held many clinical positions outside the practice including the Director of Dental Services at the Alfred Hospital, senior consultant to Head and Neck Cancer Units at St Vincent’s Hospital and Box Hill Hospital, Honorary Consultant Dentist to the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit Royal Melbourne Hospital and demonstrator and supervisor Special Needs Dentistry post-graduate training. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and a member of the Australian Dental Association.
